This wedding had flower crowns, this wedding had kilts, this wedding had loads of pretty flowers, this wedding took place at my favorite venue Netherwood, this wedding was fun, this wedding had laughter, love and light! I still smile with love whenever I think of this special day!
I love this family. From the very first time I met with Cheree and her Mom Anette for coffee and a chat at Blueberry Hill, I felt like I had been welcomed into their family with a warm and loving embrace. As a family it is their kindness, warmth, generosity of spirit, faith in God, and superb sense of humour that draws you right in. Playing and planning for this wedding was a joy throughout!
Derryn and Cheree chose to base their colour scheme around Derryn’s family kilt. We worked with tones of burgandy and navy, accented with white and green. Cheree loves indigenous plants, flowers and textures so we incorporated whole aloes with their roots washed clean, arum lilies, blush leucodendron, white erica and kol kol, accentuated with raw wood features, candle light and glass. I loved how creative we got to be in creating Cheree and Derryn’s decor concept, and I LOVED the flowers and textures we got to play with on their tables!
Enjoy these pretty pics by Unprecedented Pictures friends! More happiness from this special day to follow tomorrow.
P.S: have you ever seen a bride with more a more radiant smile and sparkling eyes? have you ever seen a groom so darn proud and happy to marry his love? Man alive, I love these two humans!
